SUBSTITUTE REGISTERED NURSE: 10-Month School Calendar Position                                        

GST BOCES is looking for an LPN substitute to care for the medical needs of students placed in a BOCES classroom located across our region.   There are substituting opportunities in the Elmira, Horseheads, Bath, and Hornell areas.

• Some students may require daily tube feeding
• Assessment of students’ vital signs. 
• The employee must possess a valid NYS Nurse license.
• Dispensing medications.
• Helping students with daily living skills/hygiene
• Following medical protocol
• Students may need assistance with areas of daily living skills which may include, but are not limited to; toileting, personal care, feeding.
• Other duties as assigned.

Job Qualifications

Must possess a valid NYS Nurse License
