Our District
Approximately 400 pre-kindergarten through twelfth-grade students are served in Jasper-Troupsburg’s two school buildings by 65 experienced instructional staff. Our high school building in Jasper serves grades 7-12.

Students at Jasper-Troupsburg receive a well-rounded education that focuses on academics, arts and extracurricular activities. Our high school offers a variety of Accelerated College Education (ACE) courses, with college credits earned through Corning Community College. Outside of the normal school day, students participate in various clubs, sports, instrumental music and chorus.

J-T takes great pride in our extracurricular activities, with approximately 20 clubs We currently have a nationally-recognized FFA program, an award-winning marching band, a ski club and an active drama club.  Jasper-Troupsburg also has a very successful athletic program, boasting state championship soccer teams for both girls and boys.

The 2020-21 operating budget for the Jasper-Troupsburg Central School District is $12,602,751. The true value tax rate per $1,000 is $12.79.


Our Community
Our district is located in southern Steuben County in the Southern Tier of New York. Jasper-Troupsburg is a rural community that is within easy travel distance to the cities of Corning and Elmira, as well as the Finger Lakes Region.

Residents and visitors alike enjoy recreational activities such as boating, skiing, hunting, fishing and hiking. Other attractions include the Corning Museum of Glass, Rockwell Museum, the Watkins Glen Gorge and Letchworth State Park.

Opportunities for advanced education are available at the State Universities of New York (SUNY) at Alfred and Geneseo, Alfred University, Corning Community College and Elmira College. These colleges are all within an hour drive.
