OUR DISTRICT AND OUR COMMUNITY
Jasper-Troupsburg is located in southern Steuben County in the Southern Tier of New York. Jasper-Troupsburg is a rural community that is within easy travel distance to the cities of Corning and Elmira, as well as the Finger Lakes Region. Residents and visitors alike enjoy recreational activities such as boating, skiing, hunting, fishing and hiking. Other attractions include the Corning Museum of Glass, Rockwell Museum, the Watkins Glen Gorge and Letchworth State Park.
Students at Jasper-Troupsburg receive a well-rounded education that focuses on academics, arts and extracurricular activities. Our elementary school has an evolving curriculum with an emphasis on helping each child achieve his or her highest potential. Our high school offers a variety of Accelerated College Education (ACE) courses, with college credits earned through Corning Community College. Outside the normal school day, students participate in various clubs, sports, instrumental music and chorus. J-T takes great pride in our extracurricular activities, with approximately 20 clubs. We currently have a nationally-recognized FFA program, an award-winning marching band, a ski club and an active drama club. Jasper-Troupsburg also has a very successful athletic program, boasting state championship soccer teams. Opportunities for advanced education are available at the State Universities of New York (SUNY) at Alfred and Geneseo, Alfred University, Corning Community College and Elmira College. These colleges are all within an hour's drive.

The Jasper - Troupsburg Central School District Board of Education is seeking an outstanding educational leader to fill the position of Superintendent of Schools. The Board is being assisted in the search by GST BOCES District Superintendent Stacy Saglibene. Selection Timeline:

Salary and Contract:
The Board of Education is offering a three-year contract with a base salary range of $135,000.00 - $145,000.00 that will be commensurate with the successful candidate’s educational leadership experience.
